Hitsumetsu Beer Packaging

Hitsumetsu means mortality in Japanese. For this project I wanted to combine traditional ink drawing with digital painting effects to create a unique beer label. I’ve always had a passion for Japanese language and culture, and so during my time working at a brewery I decided to combine the two interests into an illustration project. The brewery logo is a fictional brand I created for this can as well.
